Tak Kwan

Tak Kwan, MD, FAHA, FACC, FSCAI, Professor of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine and Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mount Sinai Morningside. Dr. Kwan is interested in minimal invasive interventional approach for coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. Since 2002, Dr. Kwan started transradial catheterization and was the training course director for national training site of transradial technique. Starting 2014, he started pedal access for peripheral arterial intervention. He demonstrated his interventional skills through numerous lectures and live demonstration courses in different countries. Dr. Kwan is very active in clinical research. He is the recipient of numerous grants. Dr. Kwan also authored and co-authored more than 140 peer-reviewed papers, presented findings in numerous local, national, and international medical meetings.
